Export dashboards on demand and deliver them on a schedule
Viewers can export a dashboard to PDF, PowerPoint, image, Excel or CSV when you allow it. Admins and users can also schedule a dashboard to arrive by email on a set day and time, sent to groups or individual recipients, with each recipient's row-level security applied.

How it works
Most teams finish these steps in under an hour.
Open a dashboard
Go to the dashboard you want to share.
Choose Schedule
Click Schedule, then Add schedule.
Set timing and format
Pick the frequency, time and format, such as PDF or PowerPoint.
Pick recipients
Select groups or individual people and save.
What it looks like in EmbedPortal

Scheduled reports and exports features
Power BI exports
PDF document and PowerPoint.
Tableau exports
PDF, PNG image, PowerPoint, crosstab Excel and CSV.
Per-dashboard control
Allow or block on-demand exports for each dashboard.
Group recipients
Send to a whole group, and new members are included automatically.
RLS on delivery
Each recipient gets the version of the report they are allowed to see.
Logged
Exports appear in the activity log, such as who exported which dashboard as PDF.
Why scheduling matters
Many stakeholders never log in. They want the numbers in their inbox on Monday morning. Scheduling meets them there without anyone building the PDF by hand.
Because exports respect RLS, you can send one schedule to a whole partner group safely.
Common questions
Can I export an embedded Power BI report to PDF?
Yes. Viewers can export to PDF or PowerPoint if exports are allowed for that dashboard.
Can I schedule an embedded Tableau dashboard by email?
Yes. Add a schedule, pick the format and choose groups or individual recipients.
Do scheduled reports respect row-level security?
